How to schedule messages through the Google Messages?

How to schedule messages through the Google Messages app?
Ever got an urge to share an idea that just popped into your head? But what if it’s 2 o’clock and everyone is fast asleep. Are you sure that you’ll remember it until the next day?
Wouldn’t it be easy if you could type and schedule a message to be delivered later when everyone is awake and up for discussion?!

Not only an idea, what if you want to remind someone of something important like a meeting or going to the doctor and it is already late. It would be rude to wake them up that late.

That is where a scheduled message comes to your rescue!

Let us take a look step by step at how it works.

Open your Google Messages Application
< >Select a contact you want to messageWrite your messageTap and hold the send arrowChoose a convenient time and date from the options Save itYou can see the scheduled time in blue above the messageConfirm and tap the send arrow
Voila! You have your scheduled message.

Your message will have a blue clock next to it and a “scheduled message” text written below it.

NOTE: This only works when you have an active internet connection.
Also, this update is still in the process of rolling out worldwide, so keep checking if your smartphone has this new feature updated.
